Fast-growing agency Seaside Travel has unveiled plans for its 13th branch.
The shop will open in Low Fell, a suburb of Gateshead, with the company now on the lookout for staff.
The announcement comes after Seaside Travel promoted six of its long-standing branch managers to create a senior management team and open a head office.
Announcing the location of its 13th branch in a post shared on Facebook, the agency said: “Mr and Mrs Seaside [Nicola Park and partner Barry Coatman] are very excited to announce that we are opening shop number 13.
“We are beyond excited to be coming to Low Fell in Gateshead. What an amazing vibrant street to be on!”
An exact opening date has not yet been confirmed but the agency said more details should be announced “very soon”.
Seaside Travel is now hiring for more agents to join the growing company.
“We are also super excited to welcome new Seasiders! We’ll be looking for some amazing staff to join this amazing crazy gang,” the post added.
Seaside Travel owner Nicola Park told Travel Weekly last year she had an overall target of 20 shops, but would not give a specific timescale for the expansion.
The company’s head office, due to open on April 1, will be located at the back of its existing store in Wingate, County Durham. It will be used for supplier meetings and staff training.
