The UK Holiday Group – the parent of mature travel brand Grand UK Holidays – has recruited a new sales and marketing manager.
Kirsty Laifa brings more than 30 years of travel trade experience to the Norwich-headquartered escorted touring company.
She started her career at Keycamp Holidays, and has also worked for DFDS Seaways, French Life Holidays and sister brands, and Aferry.com/Ferrysavers’ global portal.
Laifa then spent some time out of travel, working for a marketing and creative agency.
She told Travel Weekly: “I am so happy to be back in travel now, working with The UK Holiday Group. My true home is back in travel and I have missed it hugely.
“I am so excited to be back in my beloved travel industry.
“I am really looking forward to reconnecting with old contacts and working more with the travel trade in our key areas, alongside our trade manager Lyn Arnold with our Grand UK Holidays programme, which was founded in 1983.
“I am honoured to work for such a long-standing and well-known brand and look forward to what 2025 brings for the group.”
Laifa succeeds Abi Charter, who has moved on to become head of marketing at One Traveller.
