If Only has appointed Lauren Dudley as business development executive for the north of England.
Dudley is set to start on March 31, replacing Vicky Edwards who has joined Scenic and Emerald Cruises.
She will report into Gemma Pinder-Davidson, head of sales for the north, and be responsible for helping to “grow the agent footprint” for the luxury trade-only tour operator.
Dudley has worked in the travel industry for 19 years, with previous roles including business development executive at Hays Travel and sales consultant at Thomas Cook.
Tracy Docherty, If Only agency sales director, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be expanding our trade support team.
“Charlotte, Gemma, Jen and latterly Vicky have done a fantastic job in gaining support from our amazing agent partners to date and as the luxury market continues to grow it will be great to have a bigger trade team visiting more agencies and homeworkers gaining further support for If Only.
“We know Lauren will be a great addition to the team, bringing lots of valuable experience from various sectors of the market, so she will be able to transition into the role with ease. This appointment will enhance our trade sales team and will help us to increase the support we offer to our growing portfolio of regional and national agent partners for If Only.”
She added that Dudley would be spending time with the company’s head office team in Glasgow before contacting her new portfolio of agents.
Dudley said: “I am super excited to be joining If Only, a well-respected tour operator in the luxury market, engaging with agents across the north-west and contributing towards [the company] becoming the UK and Ireland’s favourite luxury tour operator.”
