Travelbag marketing director steps up in ‘leadership transition’

Travelbag head of marketing Nicola Richardson has been promoted to managing director of the dnata UK Travel Group brand.

A posting on Linkedin said she had stepped up into the role at the long-haul specialist following a “leadership transition”.

The move came just six months after former Mark Warner marketing director Andy Furlong was confirmed in the position.

The announcement on Linkedin said: “Nicola Richardson, who was head of marketing for the brand, has stepped up into the role of managing director effective immediately.

“With her 10 years of experience in the industry, and over five years with us, Nicola has a breadth of experience across marketing and travel.

Lesley Rollo, chief executive of dnata Travel Group UK, said: “I am thrilled to have Nicola step into this role, she is well positioned to lead Travelbag.

“Her deep understanding of our business combined with her proven track record, makes her the ideal leader to guide Travelbag’s strategic priorities, growth and success.”
