Queen Anne departs on first world voyage

New Cunard ship Queen Anne has departed on its first world voyage from Southampton.

The 3,000-passenger vessel will visit 30 ports across 18 countries on the 107-day itinerary.

New York will be the first port of call on January 17 following a transatlantic crossing.

Queen Anne, which entered serve in May, becomes the 14th and largest ship in Cunard’s history to undertake a full world voyage. 

Highlights include Miami, San Francisco, Panama Canal, Honolulu, Auckland, Sydney and Hong Kong with the ship crossing the International Date Line on February 12.

Queen Anne departThe full world voyage also includes overnight stops in New York, Honolulu, Sydney, and Singapore, with Queen Anne returning to the UK on 27 April 27.

Speakers lined up for the cruise include such as Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington, hypnotist Paul McKenna, actor Charley Boorman and former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash.
