Holland America Line offers wave upgrades and reduced deposits

Holland America Line has launched its wave sale with cabin upgrades, reduced deposits and other savings.

The annual sale, called Start Your Journeystarted on December 19 and runs until February 28, 2025, for new bookings on select spring 2025 through to spring 2026 cruises.

The promotion offers a free balcony upgrades so passengers can get a veranda stateroom for the price of an ocean-view, or ocean-view for the price of an interior cabin.

New bookings in the sale period will also have Have It All premium package which includes shore excursions based on cruise duration, a Signature Beverage Package, specialty dining (based on cruise duration) and a Wi-Fi Surf Package.

HAL also offers 50% reduced deposits for the first and second guests in the cabin on a cruise or Alaska cruisetour, with fares starting at $129 per person per day.

There will be free fares for children travelling as the third and fourth guests in a cabin on select 2025 and 2026 cruises, although taxes, fees and port expenses are additional.

There is also an early bonus for agents booking for clients by January 31, 2025, where passengers will receive up to £400 per stateroom onboard credit depending on cruise length.
