Inspire Europe shake-up sees top management changes

A shake-up in the structure at Inspire Europe will see its two core businesses operate as independent entities under separate leadership teams.

Lisa Henning and Richard Buxton have been appointed as chief executive and chief financial officer respectively of Inspire Europe, transitioning from their previous roles as managing director and finance director.

Simultaneously, chairman Peter Main, group chief executive Peter Pantelides and business development director Benni Aherns have stepped down from their operational roles at Inspire Europe and resigned from the board.

They will focus on developing Inspire GBR, which specialises in sales promotion and incentives in the travel, leisure and lifestyle sectors.

The restructuring follows a strategic review that determined both businesses would benefit from operating on an independent basis while maintaining shared strategic resources.

The decision “aims to leverage growth strategies” for each business.

Henning said: “During recent months the board has been evaluating its overall business strategy to determine the optimal path forward for each of our core businesses.

“We concluded that running the businesses independently, while maintaining certain shared strategic resources, would best serve each entity’s future, ensuring continued growth and long-term sustainability.

“This transition marks an exciting new chapter for Inspire Europe. With Richard and I taking on our new roles, we will now look to accelerate further growth and innovation across our retail travel, loyalty solutions and international travel gift card divisions.

“We’re grateful to Peter Pantelides, Benni Aherns and Peter Main for their outstanding leadership in building Inspire Europe into the success it is today. Their vision has created strong foundations for our next phase of development.”

Buxton added: “This new structure strengthens our ability to create value for both our clients and our talented team. We’re energised by the opportunities ahead as we look to continuing to develop the business for the future.”
